As the movable interface between gas spring and vehicle hood or body, end fittings play a pivotal role. To ensure fast and cost-efficient gas spring installation in series production, STABILUS keeps providing new linkage solutions. At the IZB in Wolfsburg, the company introduced two new developments in this area: A ball joint fitting with a clip mechanism, and a corrosion-resistant ball socket made of plastic. The new ball joint fitting is designed to be used with engine hood gas springs. Thanks to its innovative clip technology, it will latch directly into a punched-out, trapezoidal hole in the body panel, drastically reducing assembly time. The clip-type ball joint fitting will replace the conventional ball pivot and bearing designs. It can be inserted with one hand. The new ball socket, made of 100% high-quality plastic, is designed for corrosion resistance and noise reduction. The plastic socket will make additional metal retaining clips redundant. It will assist in facilitating gas spring assembly, work silently, and is also lighter than conventional metal sockets.Fore more information ,please visiting http://www.bossgoo.com/
